For This Layout You Will Need

Instructions

  1. First, cut two circles from the background paper C48 006 to be used on the front. Ink the circle edges and distress edges on the 12x12 sheet now.
  2. Trim to 11.75 X 11.75 from C48 007 and distress edges.
  3. Cut a strip 3.5 X 9 from C48 008, Ink edges.
  4. Cut a square 7 X7 from C48 005 and ink edges.
  5. From MC48 001 die cut journal, use the journal page behind the photo and one of the tags and tag holder with the little tickets. Ink the edges and add some bow and twine to the tag.
  6. Make flowers with MC DC07 and punch two from the papers used. Ink the edges and add a gem or button to finish them off.
  7. Paint Die Cut Chipboard DC48 004/014/020 white and let dry.
  8. For the compass die, finish it off with a dark glimmer glam and some liquid pearls. Attach one of the circles that cut out earlier to the back piece. The ants are also finished off with the same glimmer glam. For the title piece, use a rusty colored mist and some brown chalk ink. Cover it with Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle paint.
  9. Lay everything out to determine placement, then put it all together using glue and pop up squares.
  10. All Done! Just frame and hang!
